Ubering with Auradin?

[:1]Ok so i've got my auradin finished:

dual dreams, dragon armor, Hoj, max block, resists at 75 in hell,

10k damage with zeal (mostly elemental) and attack speed is 5 frames, plus my pulses that can still help, and conviction which drops the monsters resists by 150%.

I'm using dracs for life leach and ctc life tap.

I wan't to know if this build is only viable for doing uber trist, or will i get killed

instantly while trying to kill tha bosses with 50 monsters around me .

Please help

Thx!

Tryzx|||I'm just worried the high elemental damage will lead to you not leaching enough life to survive. Not to mention with zeal you will be hitting the minions a lot and will probably need a lot of attack rating leech anything at all. You could try the build that has low fire resist and lots of fire absorb for survivability.|||Quote:

Viable? Probably if you have some extra gear on swap, but I have my doubts as to whether you will be able to kill anything in ubertrist the gear you have mentioned alone. Your aura pulses and elemental dmg to melee attacks does not appear to be sufficient in bringing ubers down even with conviction running, as they simply have too much life & life regeneration to be affected elementally.

I have a dreamadin running conviction, using grief pb, dream diadem, dream kurast shield tgods, gores, dracs as part of my permanent setup, and I had once helped some fellas complete their ubertrist (because some dolt their asked to help earlier pulled all three ubers to the red portal and gave up trying). This was done in a three person game, and my dreamadin soloed all three of them with their minions buzzing around me. I had max'ed res of 75 each except lite res which was at 95. I had my life dropped a little, but it never went below 50% at any given time. I switched between smite when working the ubers. and zeal when chasing off minions. The confusion proc from dual dreams does help keep some of the minions off my back a little, but I usually don't bother with them. All these were done while running conviction constantly.

If your conviction skill level is higher than meph's; your resistance will be unaffected (aka no real need to stack resistance), but if your resistance are on the mid to low end, the ubers & minion's will still hurt you pretty bad until your lifetap kicks in. However, I am not sure if you will be doing enough physical dmg for lifetap to work for you.|||swapping to grief+fortitude or death+fortitude (or last wish+fortitude if you're rich) and attacking it as a "dreamer" instead of an "auradin" would probably make you more effective. Still, I think with dracs your leech should be enough in your auradin gear. Not sure about your kill speed though.

HoJ has ITD, plus he has conviction up as an auradin, he'll have a very high chance to hit the minions even without any attack rating from gear (other than obviously ravenfrost).

The bigger problem with zealing is confuse over-writing lifetap on the minions. It won't over-write on the ubers since they can't be confused, so you'll be a lot safer smiting instead of zealing. You should kill them faster that way, anyway - hitting minions while the ubers are still alive is a waste of time.

Essentially any pally build (they all include 1pt smite) can do ubers as a smiter, with the right gear. So, if all else fails, g's face+gores+dracs and smite your way through it.|||All efficient (and most viable) melee chars doing Ubers utilize crushing blow. Add in that to your gear and you're good to go. Any pally build with 1 point in smite and enough res can do it. Smite in itself deals enough dmg (given a semi-decent shield) to leech back what you loose, given lifetap, so that should be nothing to worry about.|||Ya i already have a full smiter that can uber in less than 2 mins but i wanted to know if my auradin could do it as well (with more time).

I tested it and it would work but its really long so i gave up ^_^

Thx anyway
