Is Griswold set viable for any build?

[:1]When I started my current paladin, I was thinking that it could work on an avenger and was planning on going for it. Eventually I grew bored with leveling so slowly and respeced into a hammerdin.

Funnily enough now that I've ran Worldstone Keep the entire set has dropped to me and I'm wondering what or if any build is viable with it. Respec back to avenger with my main is out of question since he is equipped with far superior hammerdin items, so what's your opinion on if its worth a shot to start a second paladin to be leveled as an avenger or something else?|||I found Griswold set quite all-purpose due to sockets.

You can socket it with PTopazes and use it as a MF zealot - good for CS.

You can socket armors with UM PDia, Ber/shaels in cadi and use it as an Uber smiter.

None of this character is perfect nor cheap but they are unique and works pretty well - much more then decent

I never try avenger but I think can be done as well with this set.

Moreover if you put Sols in armors, add 2 x Nature rings, Life Everlasting amu you have upto 103 damage reduction, what make you PI for 99% of attacks.

Only build which cannot be done is hammer. Hammerdin without enigma is useless.|||I believe some people like to put lightning facets in the sockets and use it on an FoH-din.|||Quote:

It's actually a viable fun build for pvp. 75 fcr, 12k hammers, decent charge damage and so on. As most of us know, hammerdin is viable in pvp without teleport too.
