[:1]Hi, I had a question about the Dream Runeword, but before I go into that, let me explain my situation first
I have a level 84 SparkyCharger paladin. That would be a paladin who uses holy shock and relevant synergies, and charge as main attack. Holy Shock is at level 35, as are resist lightning and salvation(the synergies). With my gear, my Paladin's damage is 1401-(somewhere over 10,000).
Now for my question. I know that Dream gives a level 15 Holy Shock aura on equip. My question is, does the aura from Dream stack if I am wearing two of them, a helm and a shield? If it does indeed stack, would my primary Holy Shock aura's level be added to the auras from both Dreams? If it does, my Holy Shock aura would immediately jump to level 61(yes, 61 is correct, after losing 4 points from taking off nightwings and exile).
Does this work, and is a level 61 Holy Shock possible this way?|||They do stack, but only with each other, so you end up with a level 30 aura. I'm not 100% sure but afaik if you then have your only HS aura active only the higher of the two will apply, i.e. the level 31 aura.|||Hubb is correct, in this situation the aura provided by you would be the only one that takes effect so in essence it would be a lvl 31 aura. It is similar to how it works when two paladins are using the same aura, the one with the higher level takes effect and the other is disregarded. Since you can obtain a lvl 30 holy shock aura with Dreams the ideal thing to do is change what you use as your active aura, that way you can add additional damage through something else while only losing one level of holy shock (which in the scope of damage is minimal)|||Hi
Probably the ideal aura to switch to would of course be conviction to get most out of dual dreams.
Kaytie|||Kaytie is right. Respec and points from Holy Shock put in Conviction and make that as your primarly aura. And dual dream gear will give you lvl 30 Holy Shock which will make far more damage than before couse you'll have Conviction active.
