This is My smiter set up.

[:1]This is my smiter set up, Sarcasm about my build is welcome. I take all sorts of suggestions to help make my build better.



I am lvl 88

Str- I left at base, My gear took care of that part

Dex- with gear I had like 98 dex, So I put just enough to wear grief, which is 136 dex.

Vita- With the rest of the points going into here, I topped out at 533.

energy- none.

GEAR:::

there are 3 helms I have on pally, but I use shako for maximum life potential.

Shako- Helm/ Coa/ and A pally circlet 20str, 20fcr, 2x 15Ias/15 resis jewels in it

30 resis Maras- Amulet

775 Enigma- Armor

40/15 Verdungoes- belt

eth treks 15/15- boots/// I want to use water walks for more life.

5LL Bk ring, and P raven frost Ring.

40/400 Grief PB- weapon

there is 2 shields I use for pvp,

Pally Vortex Sanctuary 115 all resis,

Eth upped Hoz (ZOD)

(with these two shields, I have 75% chance to block and 26k Def)

I also have a Exile but its considerd BM. When I do have it equipped I gain 46k def with Coa on and 60% chance to block.

Skills::::

Maxxed the following.

Smite- Some would only put 1pt into smite, But I wanted maximum smite dmg, even if its only by a little bit.

Fanactism-

Holy shield-

defiance.

After maxxing those skills I still had points left so I put 1 point into each of the following.

Zeal-

Sacrifice-

fire resis, light resis, cold resis.

1 into each pre req to get to Vigor skill.

After I put 1 into each of these skills. I still had some points left (like 4). So I put them into blessed aim, for the passive AR. (maybe I can get more lucky with charges?)

With Bo casted I have 4.2k Life, All my resis are maxxed at 75%.

I still hear of smiters reaching 4.8k-5k life. I Wanted to know how this is accomplished? Should I rid of my resis scs and 1 pcomb , then replace them with life scs?.



If I do so, I sacrifice my resis for more life. Doing this I will gain 13 more 20 life scs. I'm not sure what my resistances will look like.

They may still be in positive, but I Know the are not going to be maxxed at 75

Before I used Scs, I used 9 Pcombs and I put enough points into dex to get 75% chance to Block with exile.

SARCASM OVERLOAD|||maybe its just me but I don't see any cb in your set up which is something you need if you plan on doing ubers. id suggest some dracs gloves for life tap. other than for ubera imp you have a great build|||i guess this is PvP? i�m no expert, but some pointers

i think getting a BA would increase ur range, which should help a lot, with hitting and more life

one into each of the 1 pt skills is wasted, the BA is too. put all of them into one single res aura to increase ur max res for that specific one. it will do at a 1:2 ratio.

what u could improve is: get a high life high dex high res ring instead of the bk

get more pc life skillers

which gloves do u use? bloodfists should do fine

the 5k life might be with the friendly help of a barb or an oak from hoto or something|||Quote:

I have Lw phase blade I use for Pvm and uber runs. With the Lw there is no need for Dracs so I just use GG 20Ias gloves. Ive done uber runs with just the Last wish alone. I had no problems at all.|||last wish is different, than running with a greif. last wish has everything you need on it already, i didn't see it in your set up that's why i asked about it|||I personally dislike the typical zero fcr old school smiter build, but your build is pretty close to it.

Thanks for the pointers, I maxxed my light resis skill, and now at 85 light resis. I had to 1pt into my smite skill. But I've hardly noticed any difference. Got a hold of some blood fist gloves, and had to put more points into dex since my GG IAS glove gave some extra dex/str.

My vita level is lower, But I do indeed still have more life. Still looking for a GG lifer ring, But I like Bk for the life and +skill its ok I guess.|||Quote:

Yea, maybe I'm weird or something, I like having certain gear perfect. But even though Its perfect doesn't mean I'm going to PK every character on D2. A hammerdin can have common gear, and still kill a character with GFgear. Funny how that works.
