this uber smiter viable?

[:1]hey guys, at the mo im getting pretty bored with my frenzy barb and wanna just go for ubers constantly with a smiter to try and get some GG torches

im not the wealthiest person going but i do have some items and a couples of ists and a vex and puls and things lying around,

heres what i have to put on him at the mo:

gores

dracs

strings of ears (maybe change to tgod or dungo????)

ravenfrost

dwarf star

smoke archon plate

highlords

anni

so my obvious questions are:

what helmet to use? im thinking guillaumes for the cb...

what weapon? i cant afford a grief atm but i have a heavens light mighty scepter with 2 open sockets? suggestions for sockets?

and shield? i could afford a zaka now to put me on, i could up it and um it? or what other shield?

and possible belt change?

i also have a couple of 5fhr scs and life scs laying around but please could you point me in the right direction |||Guillaume's, you can Um or Shael it.

Heaven's Light with 2x shael iirc covers your smite breakpoint.

HoZ is fine, so is an elite paladin shield with 4x perfect diamonds and high automod resists or if you find a 3os one, you can make a sanctuary shield.

Any of the belts you're listing will do fine.

Consider using a treachery armor for prebuff and a lionheart armor for UT. You only get 20 lower resists with lionheart, but it has a huge amount of extra effective life in the form of stats, plus it's ultra cheap.|||thanks man, may try either getting a gris shield and filling with pdiamonds or getting a HoZ and upping and pdiamond insertion

I think that you will get a HoZ a lot easier than a griswold shield. You don't need to up it, it will do fine in the exceptional version.

T-gods for Meph, if you feel like keeping both use Strings versus the rest. You don't really need the Dwarf, maybe put a Wisp or mana-leech/AR/res/whatever ring in its place.|||Yesterday I meke first Trist in this ladder with very cheap zealot. Only CB source was Goblin. I have Heaven Light 2x Shael, but I prefer hit boss few times more then fights against PI vampires, then I used Azure.

Grief let you kill Ubers very fast, but what later? Do you want to change your weapon?

Other stuff which I used - Lionheart, Gaze UM, Highlord, Raven + res ring, TGod. Random Torch, no anni.

Have not tried but would this work?|||It would, but there are far better armors than guardian angel.|||when i had to use a cheap build the weapon was a lightsabre with a sheal in it, and before that was a wizzy spike with a sheal. helm was guillaumes face, socket with a um. as for the belt i'd say Nosferatu's Coil

if you can get your hands on it a dress would take you a long way in uber trist. if you can't afford that, i'd keep the with smoke.

The one problem i see, and correct me if i'm wrong, is you don't have a way to prevent them from healing. i fixed this with a nat's peace, which is also great for farming them dkeys from nil.|||Guillame's face is cool.

Consider "black" runeword in a flail for your weapon.
