Dual Dream Werepaladin soloed the Ubers

I finally got around to making a werepaladin and have to say that it was a much stronger build than I thought it would be! I could easily solo hell without a merc with the build below. Since it seemed like a strong PvM build, I took it into Ubertrist to see how it would do. I was suprised that he also soloed UT twice without too much difficulty as well. If you haven't tried one yet, make it a consideration for your next pally build.

Maxed HS, Blessed Aim, Res Lite

Enough into conviction for 25 after bonuses

1 point into Redemption

Rest into Salvation

Helm: Dream

Armor: Enigma

Weapon: EBOTD phase blade/Beast Z switch

Shield: Dream/Spirit switch

Ammy: Angelic

Rings: Angelic, Angelic

Belt: Trangs

Gloves: Dracs

Boots: Gores/Upped Goblin Toes for UT

Charms: Mix of AR/life, AR/Dam/life, res, and fhr

When shifted, I had over 5.2K life, around 7.4K LCS damage, 16K defense, max block, and 7.6K AR. Only needed to change out the boots to go into UT.

All in all, it's a nice build!

Nevermind, forgot about the passive bonus. How much is that by the way?|||Just out of curiosity, what do your resists look like? Even with perfect dual dreams and perfect resists anni+torch I don't think that's enough to max them out. and yes I know conviction cancels out meph's aura, just wondering how well you do against the casting skeletons and the immune-to-everything pitlords.|||um... You know the "E" in "eBotD" stands for ethereal, right? Why make BotD in a PB? PB can't be ethereal unless you up an eth rare Crystal Sword/Dimensional Blade. Just seems like a waste of a Zod. And no "cannot be frozen"? Looks like you have the wealth for a Raven Frost.

5%/hard point.|||Ghoulz - 5% per level (omgwtfbbqpwned beat me to it ). This build needs all the AR it can get, even with the high level conviction aura.

Norrit - Good point about the resists. I got lucky and have good res rolls on my Dreams, but I forgot to mention in the original post that I also have a few resist small charms to get maxed resists.

Obdob - EBTOD Phase Blade gives 4 frame attack by itself, with great bonuses, and pretty good damage. It is considered one of the best, if not the best weapon for this build. Crystal Blades and Dimensional Blades are too slow to hit the 4 frame breakpoint. Trang's belt has the cannot be frozen modifier on it.

With 60 ias on pb you only have an fpa of 6. You need at least 110% ias to hit an fpa of 4. The ias frames are same a were bear druid. So botd pb would be a bad idea. Go with x6 shael pb for best results out of your dual dream bear pally.|||Where did you get your information about shifter pally breakpoints?

The German weapon speed calculator gives a 4 frame attack rate for a paladin in bear form using a phase blade with 60 extra IAS (from EBOTD), as does the build guide. Also, I know what a 4 and 6 frame attack rate looks like for a shifter, and I am definitely not attacking at 6 frames. When my pally bear attacks it looks like the same rate as my fury wolf when he uses his eTomby at 4 frames. Based on the calculator and my in game testing, I have concluded that the EBOTD PB gives a 4 frame attack and is one of the best weapons for this build.|||Quote:

Like the others said... don't know where you're getting those breakpoints. Take note that in bear/wolf form ias breakpoints between classes differ. FHR/FBR is the same though.

*Sweet build. And at Mal-Vex-Ber-Ber-Jah-Jah-Jah-Zod it's cheap as chips
