This sounds fun! (is it hell-viable)

I want a 100% CB (or close) zealot that is safe, has respectable killing speed, unique, not TOO expensive . This is what I came up with.

stats: I'll work it out

SLOW ENEMIES!!! (slow enemies 35%(nosfo's +cleg's (60% with wep2!)) 56ish from holy freeze, cold damage all stack)

MF (at lvl 85) ~150 before charms (175 wep2)

Unique (?)

7fps zeal (6 frame wep 2)

cons:

No Blocking

LOW resists

I figure the REALLY slow enemies will make up for resists and blocking.

Questions:

What merc/merc setup would be best suited? (might defiance or Blessed aim?)

Is AR enough without blessed aim? (passive bonus and merc)

Any obvious problems you are foreseeing?

I plan on testing this build extensively when I get some idea of equipment and skills. I would love to make my first guide something nifty like this guy.

-Man Stones|||Why not use Astreon's Ward, Heaven's Light, Stormlash (all 33% CB) or Death? Death in a War Spike will get you to 100% CB and you'll only need 42 ias to reach a 5 frame zeal.|||1st, because I will not look even close to bad*** enough

3rd, I want something UNIQUE!|||Maybe I was doing it wrong, but I've tried a zealot with a perfect upped shaeled ribby and it was kinda disappointing. Imo with MF gear and without maxed resists, and no defense bonus of any kind (like holy shield or the ctc armor from fort) you'll be torn to shreds. I do have a problem with writing builds off too quickly... with holy freeze and all the slow it might work. You're not gonna cruise through hell though, even with good gear a two-handed zealot can be squishy.

I think Astreon's fits nicely in this build. It has a 150-200% bonus to AR, 33% CB, slows target by 25% and isn't used that much on cookie-cutter builds. If you make Rhyme in a good pali shield you'll get another 25% MF and potentially up to 70 resists.|||Okay, with Astreon's and Rhyme pally shield, I will have slightly less damage (and therefore leech) faster zeal (6 frame, 5 frame with 22 more IAS) 83% CB (93 with goblin toe), more slow, more res, and blocking, more AR, less FHR.

Should I split the remaining points between Holy Shield, Blessed aim, and sacrifice, or pump holy shield?

Also, how do Slow enemies (25 from wep, 25 from gloves, and 10 from belt), Holy Freeze (around 56), and cold damage stack?

Also, with the cannot be frozen mod on Rhyme, should I have dual leech rings, dual ravens (AR + dex), Wisps ( I have feeling gloams are going to be a beach), or a combo.

MERC COMMENTS!|||Try to get last wish but its more of a uber smiter weapon and most expensive runeword in the game.|||no IAS and I can't cham it. I need freeze target~!|||You cannot have 100% CB unless you use 5 Ber on weapon (Runemaster with 5 Ber looks impressive and is useless)

For example 50 CB on weapon + 50 CB on "fantasy boots" gives you 75% chance to swing with CB.|||^Maybe you're confusing CB with deadly/critical strike?
