Exile > Defiance aura and holy shield

Does the Defiance aura you get with the Exile shield synergize with Holy Shield or do only hard points boost it?

I'm making a PVM zealot and I'm not sure whether to add to Blessed Aim or Defiance for their passive bonuses, after I have my main skills maxed ofc.

The basic layout for a Zealot:



20 Sacrifice, Zeal, Holy Shield

20 Fanaticism

Extras into Defiance



With a level 20 zeal you're getting +200% AR bonus. That along with gear should take care of any attack rating needs (for PvM, PvP with massive defense characters could be an issue). For just general play (occasional duels) I would say take the extra AR from it.



If you absolutely never plan on dueling and have no problems hitting in hell (which you shouldn't) then more defense never hurt anything.



You could always get funky and wear a dream helm putting extra points into resist lightning. Its fun if you ever rush/play nightmare and normal (everything dies before you see it)

Hm? |||oh, ha. i see. it's pvm. i dont see the point in exile for pvm so i didnt read closely enough to see that part.
