Smite Info Help! ;-)

I've read alot here in the forums, but too many opinios differ and sometimes you don't know whats the best to go for.

I'll post here my current gear, and what i need help for

Its a smite pala for Uber Tristram.

Helmet: Guillaume's Face Um'd

Weapon: Phase Blad - Last Wish

Shield: I need help here. Currently HoZ 192ed Clean : Help Here

Armor: Dusk Shroud - Chains of Honor

Gloves: Dracul's Grasp 10ll, 99ed, 15str, 7life after kill

Boots: Gore Rider's 200ed

Belt: Verdungo's Hearty Cord 136ed, 35vit, 12rl, 13fr

Rings: SoJ / Raven Frost 246ar, 20 dex

Amulet: Mara's @29

Switch: CTA, HoZ 182ed Clean Help here on the shield

Torch: 18/19

Anni: 13/17/10

What should improve or change? Anything Wrong?

What shields should i get ? Exile Vortex ?

Help me out!

/Sayha|||Looks like you'd do fine. There's another recent thread here talking about this, and it's obvious that you don't need the bestest of gearz to do the ubers effectively.

HoZ or Exile, both work. BK might do you better than SoJ (for the bonus to Life). I would use a Spirit shield on switch with CTA rather than HoZ--Spirit gives +2 all skills, which boosts your BO; HoZ is +2 pally skills, which doesn't.

Main thing is to stack resistances to deal with Meph's conviction. A way to deal with physical immunes is also useful for cleaning up the minions when you're done with the ubers (source of Amp Damage, Decrep, etc.). I ran with a hammerdin buddy who took care of these.|||you should upgrade your primary HoZ, so it does more dmg

You forgot the 'e' on Blade. Watch out for that Nurman, he's a wiley coyote.

I was going to post this a couple hours ago, but the forums wouldn't let me... Here is my opinion.

Uping the shield would be nice, but not nescessary. Definently socket it with an Um or Perfect Diamond.

Use Laying of Hands instead of Dracul's. You have lifetap from 'Last Wish', so the +350% damage to demons and 20 IAS will be more useful than a bit of strength from Dracul's.

My uber-trist smiter has a clean inventory aside from an anni. Mostly thats because I haven't found the charms to put in it, but I find the torch unnecessary and its nice to be able to pick up the drop rather than bringing a mule in.

I find a Stone of Jordan more useful than a BK ring. Life doesn't seem an issue with me, and the extra mana is definently helpful. Personal preference though.

Just my $.02|||Going to get a laying of hands, and two eth vortex one for exile.. other for spirit|||Meh, I prefer HoZ to 'Exile' just for the resists. If you can get a nice base +45 all resist eth vortex and bug it to 4os, so in the end you have a shield with ~1,500 Defence, that would be nice. The 'Exile' I tried had no base resists and didn't seem worth it.



Definently get one with base resist all.

Rings: SoJ / Raven Frost 246ar, 20 dex -> loose the soj and get either a dwarf or stat resis ring

Amulet: Mara's @29

Switch: CTA, HoZ 182ed Clean -> spirit!! hoz doesn�t increase the bo lvl

Torch: 18/19 -> loose the torch, if it�s supposed to be a torch runner

Anni: 13/17/10 -> loose the anni, if its supposed to be a dclone killer. u don�t want someone else snatching away ur price



get a few random fhr, res, life charms. u might want an eni for the little ubers, its just so much faster.

with this setup i won most torch runs i�ve participated in and solo�d ubers somewhere in the 60�s. there are several cheaper solutions tho. primarily u should up ur hoz and get a spirit, besides that ur equip is more than capable of taking them down
