Hammerdin Question

New ladder, I was looking at maybe building a hammerdin, only pally i have ever used was a smiter purely for DC and ubers,

If i use a hammerdin, can i use a few points in smite and still take down DC ?

Read the 1 point smiter guide. http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...d.php?t=425449 It starts with a zealot but the principles apply to an all out hammerdin with 1pt fana and 1 point smite. You will still need smiter gear and it wont kill as fast as a dedicated smiter but it does work.
